Southend Barns Pop up Shop

Last Sunday we took part in the wedding Fair at the gorgeous Southend Barns in Donnington, Chichester. We decided that it might be nice to do a "pop-up shop" so that you brides could try on dresses, and we also hosted a fashion show. Sadly the day started in disaster as our hair and makeup had to pull out at last minute, and a number of models also had to cancel! However, we managed to pull it all together rather nicely, a lovely makeup artist on site stepped in, although she didn't have any make up with her, so the models and I gathered our makeup bags and headed over armed with an eclectic mix of makeup madness! As the storm calmed I decided to grab a well earned coffee in the sunshine and sat watching the gorgeous Dawn Gee singing her vintage tunes. Suddenly I had a brainwave! Lets scrap the iPod and get her to give a live performance for the show! The results were beautiful. A last minute bouquet by Princess and the Frog florist in Arundel gave a final finishing touch.
